BREATHWORK | NEW MOON, REFLECTION & RENEWAL

Even if Astrology isn’t a world you’re wrapped up in, you might have heard from someone, somewhere that New Moons are seen as our lunar opportunity for a fresh start, a reset, a chance to begin again.

It’s also a time when the moon is lit up from behind, blending in with the night sky and showing us its “shadow side” – making it a potent time of the month to pause for honest self reflection.

As we close out the month together, we’ll set the intention to lean into the breath practice to reflect on any cycles that are coming to and end, reignite the spirit and reset the nervous system for a new lunar cycle and new month ahead.

We’ll begin class in circle with an introduction to the breath and a communal conversation around the theme before diving into the main ingredient, the breath. We’ll close our time together in circle.

BREATHWORK IS

an active meditation technique that allows you to connect with your breath and clear your mind and body of stuck energy. It allows you to feel where your blocks reside and actively move through them, creating a pathway for an emotional detox.

On one hand, it activates you, on the other it allows you to relax and release tension while liberating limiting beliefs. It can connect you to your innate wisdom while helping you to open your heart to honest self-love, self-healing, and self-acceptance.

This is an active breathwork technique where you will be breathing in and out of your mouth for 30-40 minutes.
